Pelting through numerous different time zones on Sunday night, news that the band had won the ARIA award for Most Popular International Artist, as voted for by the Australian public, reached Mumford & Sons amidst a Twilight game of football in Atlanta, Georgia. They had this message of thanks for all of you who voted…

“Dear Australia, thank you very much for voting for us in that International category at the ARIAs. Crazy but very flattering. We’ll hopefully be seeing you again next year. Lots of Love, Mumford & Sons”

So over in the US the band have six dates left of their second US tour of 2010, and final tour this year. And quite frankly, we’re starting to get a little worried about how they’ll cope being in one place for more than 24 hours! But what a year so far, hey… 

Anyway, don’t you guys worry about downtime because we’ve still got the release of the deluxe edition of the album – complete with live tracks – to look forward to. Speaking of which we thought it might be nice to give you a taster.
