I’ve been with the band since day one. I’ve never had an “official” role within Mumford & Sons, except for vibes man.
I’m always with them on the road and most of the time know what’s going on. I think.
The band would love to be able to respond to all of your questions but sometimes there isn’t enough time. The HQ nerds are pretty busy too.
I’m going to try to answer any questions you have. Some answers I will know, most answers I won’t and with some answers I will tell the truth.
I’m tech savvy you know, find me on twitter @wilis_gotrSeptember 27, 2016 at 1:57 pm #7206
It’s so nice to meet you, Willis!!
I don’t know if it works this way, but I have questions if you have answers ;) Ready?
Will the next Gentleman of the Road festivals be next year (summer of 2017)?? I’ll love you even more if you can give me a hint to where will be the closest one will me for a girl in the NorthWest area of the states!
Also and most importantly… is that blue button up shirt Marcus’ lucky concert shirt?September 27, 2016 at 2:25 pm #7209
The boys have been good to Australia and I’ve happily gone along to the last three Aussie tours. Do they plan on heading back sooner or even later?

Will my battery hold for the delayed UA flight to Denver? I’d say it’s fifty fifty. And that’s about how we feel about us getting there! Lols.
Ps Welcome to the forum

Good morning Willis. Please let me know when and if the Band will have a US Tour 2017. If they will, when would it be announced. THX, MaryOctober 4, 2016 at 5:49 pm #7379
Hi tierneymknapp, I don’t know when the next GOTR Stopovers will be – it’s not a conversation that I’m involved in! If you’re signed up to the Mumford & Sons mailing list, you’ll be first to hear about any upcoming events, anyway.
Marcus does seem to like those shirts, doesn’t he.October 4, 2016 at 5:50 pm #7380
Hey Luke, good to hear from you. Chances are that they’ll head back to Australia, but I couldn’t say when.October 4, 2016 at 5:51 pm #7381
Hi Charlotte – I sure hope so! And thank you for the welcome. It’s good to be here.October 4, 2016 at 5:54 pm #7382
Hey Mary, that’s not info that I’m privy to sorry. The best thing to do is make sure you’re signed up to the mailing list and keep an eye on your inbox, as well as this here forum, and the band’s social networks. That way, you’ll know as soon as anyone!October 5, 2016 at 5:46 pm #7385
Hey there Willis!
Great to have you!
I’m a lyrics kind of gal and am hoping you could find the lyrics for “Fool you’ve landed”? Specifically the part sung by The Very Best’s Esau (I think).
Sorry if it’s not the easiest of requests.October 5, 2016 at 8:32 pm #7387
Hi Willis! Hi everyone!
I’m new here as well. It’s so great to join in and meet you all. In an indirect way, but still it’s a great pleasure for me. I’ve been following this forum for a while and have learnt a lot about the band thanks to it. And now, I finally got the motivation to sign up :)
New songs performed live, Johannesburg collaboration, the Songs For The Road playlist and now you, Willis, being so helpful and witty. Not to mention #DustAndThunder movie coming next month. You’ve been spoiling us recently. In a good way, though. Thanks!October 10, 2016 at 10:16 am #7389
Welcome to the Forum Monika! Hopefully we will continue to spoil you. Willis xOctober 10, 2016 at 10:18 am #7390
That is a tough one Snowi and afraid I don’t have those to hand anywhere. Have you had a look across the internet? It knows most things. WillisOctober 10, 2016 at 10:10 pm #7542
Hey Willis, I hope you are well. I was wondering whether any earlier viewings of Dust & Thunder are being contemplated? I live just outside London, but far enough away to mean the 9:30 viewing at my nearest Picturehouse will end in me having a cold ol’ walk around central London while I wait for the next train home…
Any help would be greatly appreciated my man,
Cait.October 11, 2016 at 4:09 am #7543
Hello Willis, my name is Scott. My question is concerning some lyrics in their song Below My Feet. I looked the lyrics up on the internet and was troubled by what all of the sites were showing about the lyrics in question. I freely admit that I am hard of hearing, and that I very well could be wrong, but my gut tells me that I am hearing it correctly. I never doubted what I was hearing until I overheard another person singing the lyrics “incorrectly”. Does he say “Keep my eyes to serve”, or does he say “keep my eyes discern”? I suspect that this is a reference to the Biblical teaching of Jesus when he says in the Sermon on the Mount “If your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and throw it away, …..And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away, ………” Maybe he says both. Our eyes can only serve us if they are discerning things in the Light of Truth after all. Anyway, thanks for your time. Scott
