We all need a little mystery in our lives: the unexplained, the inexplicable, the smoke, the mirrors, the girls... Indeed, Mumford HQ i'self is shrouded in mystery. It's not a particularly well-fitting shroud, kind of loose, bags at the crouch, sags at the neck, but we put the receipt through the wash in the pocket of our Cape of Curiosity so we're stuck with it now - plus it's all soft an' that, cashmere blend, totally pimped out and perfect for a Sunday afternoon snoozle; some classic 80's film-fodder flickering on the box. Something like Harry and The Hendersons; the timeless tale of one family's hilarious, and not entirely unsuccessful, attempt to domesticate Bigfoot. Starring Jon Lithgow. And featuring a bonus baby Bigfoot. Sweet.
Ahh, Sasquatch, now that's a 'mystery' for you. Pfft, mystery schmistery, it's a dude in a Wooky suit. And he's wearing Uggs. MTFU you Wooky-suit-wearing weirdo, barefoot authenticity or GTFO.
There is however, nothing mysterious about how awesome the Sasquatch Festival, held at the Gorge amphitheatre in George, Washington, USA, that takes place Memorial Day Weekend - 29th May through 31st May - is. It's no great secret peeps, just amazing music, fantastic times, beautiful scenery and some magical memories silently screaming out to be made. Memories that will hopefully consist of a stirling and stirring performance from dear Mumford & Sons, who yes, have just been announced as part of this years line-up!!
