Well now that a bunch of tickets are being recalled, do any legit fans (aka not scalpers) have any tickets available for sale. I have never seen M&S live and was dying to. Please contact me at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) if you have 2 tickets available.

As most other commenters have stated, a friend and I started trying to buy tickets as soon as they sent on sale. Nothing available for 45 minutes. Stubhub, Cheap tickets and all the scalpers had hundreds for sale at ridiculous prices. As long time Mumford fans, We’ve been lucky enough to see them in Chicago in ‘10, Kansas City and St. Louis in ‘11, and we are going to Dixon. This is truly the worst case of Ticketbastard allowing brokers to gobble up the tickets. I will be happy with Dixon and hope those brokers get stuck… but of course the price they pay is negligible and they’ll give them to someone who doesn’t even know who M & Sons are. I’ve seen that all too often in the front row of concerts. :(

I am really disappointed to see how many tickets are being sold by scalpers at outrageous prices… not to mention ticketmaster who tacks on ridiculous service fees. Please do not buy any of those tickets because it only serves to hurt all of us fans in the end. I hope Mumford and Sons will someday chose to support their fans as well by NOT supporting ticket sales through secondary markets.

This whole situation is really disheartening. You acted so valiant when personally selling the GOTR tickets through your own site, yet this happens during the same tour. No one got tickets. When XRT says the concert is sold out, what they may not realize is that no tickets were available by the time they went on sale.

You guys realize that the band is in on this practice, correct? They/their manager allows a certain number of tickets to go to the sponsor (XRT) and a certain number to be released through the secondary market instantly in order for them to obtain more profit. In this case, a certain number of tickets = every ticket. Good times.

I’ve been waiting for Mumford & Sons to come to Chicago and they are FINALLY here….however I cannot go because I cannot afford what the scalpers are charging, nor do I want to support the gross practice.

I have done a lot of ticket buying in my 42 years and I can say this is the first time I have ever been completely blocked by ticket brokers for the Chicago Theater show. I was poised at noon to submit my order only to be told that within the 2 seconds since the sale started ALL 3600 seats were sold! It’s a total disappointment to fans. As much as I want to see the show, I cannot and will not pay the prices of brokers. I am tired of them working around the monopoly of Ticketmaster!

I never had a chance to get tickets, after 45 minutes of trying and trying. Thanks Ticketmaster for making it impossible for real fans to buy tickets. Looks like the brokers win. Fans lose.
