Listen to ‘The Enemy’ (for Wuthering Heights)

Mumford & Sons were extremely honoured to be asked by Andrea Arnold to write a piece for her film adaptation of Emily Brontë’s Wuthering Heights, which is showing in UK cinemas from today. There are currently no plans to release ‘The Enemy’… however you can listen to it online here.

This is one of the most mood-setting songs out there. I am a writer and it never fails to kick open the door to creativity. It is beautiful and hauntingly brilliant. Please release it so that I can listen to it everyday…everywhere…

Creating such a beautiful and haunting song and then NOT releasing it is a little like taking a beautiful work of art and closing it up in a closet where no one can see it.
    PLEASE release this song.
