We’ve announced mad heaps festivals on this website over the past few months, each and all by in large pretty good, with the possible exception of the Obscure Fruits Festival - don’t remember it? You wouldn’t, it was that obscure. So obscure in fact, that it never even existed, ‘cause I just made it up. Post-modern madness…?
This particular festival I’m sharing with you now however, didn’t fall to us to announce - falling instead just beyond my jurisdiction, by roughly the width of a single Wyatt Earp whisker, that’s approx. 0.93mm FYI - but I can proudly bellow it’s brilliance now. I am of course, talking about the wonderful Hop Farm Festival!
YAY!
Royal Tunbridge Wells’ most famous festival, as voted for by Mumford HQ! The Sons are gonna be playing main support come Saturday, 3rd of July to some new flash-in-the-pan-fella-or-other. Now I’m not hot on the old, ‘new’ music, so forgive me if I spell his name wrong… Bob Dylan is it?
Bob Dylan!?
BOB! DYLAN!
Tickets are available from the official site NOW! As well as from other ticket agents! Fix up, book sharp!

Hello Mumford chaps! Came to witness your brilliance in Manc not to long ago, bumped into Marcus when he was stuffing his face with a sandwich! Was a jolly nice fellow! :) Ive got tickets for the Hop Farm Festival, but I’m also seeing you the night before at Eden! :P I was wondering if you fancied giving me a lift after Eden!? Otherwise I won’t be able to enjoy a few light ales during the gigs! And this would be a sad thought! :D much love! Xxx

This festival looks great! A little bit mad, but fun! My kinda thing :D Just got to convince my chum to come along and I’m buying tickets! I love your songs and wish I could play such an array of instruments!...or, ahem, any, for that matter… My favourite is The Cave. It had me so chilled out during some training I did for driving a moped, lol. I kept singing (in my head, that is) and picturing four inanely grinning guys in sunnies, scooting down a dusty track. Makes me happy inside! :)

Hooray for tour breaks I say. For one thing, you boys get a break. And, for another, you get time to post these endearing news vignettes which always make me smile, and sometimes even LOL. Wyatt Earp’s whisker :)) Thank you young Mumfs. In raptures about your Oz visit in July…however will I hold on?? Much love, elena (melbs) xx

my daughters have just bought tickets (well I bought them) for Leeds fest - Harriet came with me to see you at Manchester Academy and Izzy and Maddy are dying to see you - sadly I am not into a lot of the leeds fest music and too bloody old for the scene (so i am told) but was going to come and see you again but Sunday only is£95 and thats alot to see one band! I payed £40 to see U2 360 degree tour so am devastated that I cant afford to come to see you guys again because you are genuinely amazi
