What a superb gig. The venue is in the heart of Brighton, the crowd of 900-1000 (?) was up for it! Starting with Only Love really worked. Interestingly, on a sound check / rehearsal set list seen after the gig, they previously had penciled in ‘Wolf’ as the opener.
Stage set up includes two drum kits. Thistle is Ted & Chris both on the kits = epic. Tom on fiddle throughout the show, & Nick and Dave back on horns. The band were on top form. The band may have not played a ‘full gig’ for a while, but it did not show. The sound was Spot on. Excellent Lighting gave the songs additional depth & mood. Everyone was rocking out on stage, & the crowd loving it all. Having no phones / cameras etc present again was fantastic. One focus: THE MUSIC.
My personal favourites from the night: hearing After the Storm, Ditmas, lover of the light, & Just Smoke. Intertwining ‘old’ and new songs really flowed. Thanks for an truly awesome night.

Review to follow. In short:Outstanding!!!!
Hi Kat, the Brighton gig email stated: “Mumford & Sons will be warming up for what’s set to be a busy summer with a last minute show, playing songs from all 3 albums, at Brighton’s Dome Corn Exchange…”
Will be good to see how the 3 albums fit together on one setlist. Exciting times.
Hi Robert, have you heard Wilder Mind as a whole album yet? I listened to it on record store day. Wilder Mind is definitely not a re-mix of Sigh No More/Babel! I get that. But I hope that you will purchase the new album when it comes out and hear the new album altogether. It still has lots of amazing songs which you may not have heard yet. I think the album has a lot of ‘single’ choices on it. The band are progressing, they are not standing still. Personally I like this direction. But, I understand not everyone will.
Hi, I do not have answer to your query. I do not know why there was a ‘gap’ in between forums. Other than the re-building of the main site for the Wilder Mind launch.

I listened to it on Record Store Day! Amazing! Just wanted to be able to take it away with me then! Patience is a virtue. Is it May 4 yet?!
Aww that’s a good memory to have. I love Glastonbury too. Must dig out some mumford photos….
Thanks for the link.
