I want to start this note not as a typical note and by the time I’m done with this it will be more of a letter and not a note. Last night I was listening to Allison Krauss and Gillian Welch with their version of I’ll Fly Away, I am trying to learn how to play it on my guitar I am not a musician or a singer but I do like to have my hands in it from time to time any ways back to the story some how I had come across you gents and fell head over heals in LOVE with YOUR music1 You have been truly blessed with being a genius in the music world I am no where even a genius or remotely close to your remarkable talent. How I long to be like you fellas but it will never be so. Everyone has their different style in the music industry, by the way I am NOT in the music industry. I have ALOT of favorite songs from you guys there IS NOT one song so far that is NOT overly my favorite than from the other songs I LOVE them ALL! How ever, last night I had listen to quite a few of your songs such as: Glory Train,? I think it is called. Please forgive me if I do not have it memorized correctly I am brand new to your music. I am sooo VERY happy that you fellas have come along t I feel that you could be the next Beatles perhaps even better than they were. No disrespect to them by any means. Old music is old school now its time for new music with new school. I hope and pray that one day you all will come to Ashland, Oregon and attend to our Britt Fest. that we have every year and if you happen to do this I hope and that I am not working when you are playing there and I am able to be there with bells on. I work at South Medford Walmart Super Center and sometimes we have crazy schedules. You are a blessing. Keep up the AWESOMENESS of YOUR wonderful work in music and NEVER lose sight of YOUR journey from where you have come from to where you are today. GOD BLESS. Sincerely; Lynnette M. Cushman 03/02/2017 p.s. matter of fact iam listening to your beautiful music and words as I am writing this letter to you.
