A Ted's Eye View of The Windy City image
Friends.

Time has been flying by and as I enjoy this stolen moment in a Cafe on the Charing Cross road I realize that actually a great deal more time has flown by than I at first thought. In fact, so much time has flown by that I now have a mountain of pictures waiting to share themselves with you and over the next few weeks I will be utilizing every spare moment to post more.

We have just arrived home in London from Chicago where we played Lollapolloza festival which was great fun. The Windy city is among my favorite places in the world and during our short stay there I was sure to let my camera take me for a walk. It was about 5pm and the light lent itself to high contrast shadow laden pictures. I love how the scale of the city is exaggerated by this dramatic light...

  • Ted, these are awesome photos! I hope you guys had a great time at Lolla. I was out of town for a wedding that weekend, and can't believe the poor timing and missing the show. These pictures are all within a few blocks of my apartment, and I love seeing my neighborhood through your lens. Thanks for sharing these, and I can't wait to see you in Chicago on Halloween! Are you guys going to wear costumes?

  • I love these shots! They're gorgeous and not afraid of brazenness or subtlety. I miss Chicago- I got some of my best pictures there. This is my first post of yours to read, I look forward to the rest! ~Jessica

  • WOW, how good are you!!!! The shadow on the crossing is magnificent, made the hairs on my neck stand up, great album cover methinks!!! Just been looking at using a Mumford album for a sleeveface workshop, it's this new craze that's sweeping the music scene which i'm sure all you cool dudes will know about, if you don't have a look at the celtic learners network, pretty awesome stuff, just hope i can do the lads justice!!!!! Roll on Bristol have my dancing shoes ready, welcome home boys x
